I, personally, don't have a dog...but definitely have a dog niece and a dog nephew.  They love the outdoors...and boy do they love the water.  But where can you take them to splash around in the ocean waves?

Tis the season for Spring sports.  Which means, tis the season for obnoxious parents to come out of the wood works and scream expletives at innocent kids, who are just trying to play a game.  So, I am going to take this opportunity to remind those, who need it, to be kind...be encouraging, don't be a (insert expletive here).

In 2015, I experienced for the first time what it was like to have a Fresh Air Fund child in our home.  It was so much fun.  The Fresh Air Fund is an organization that brings children from inner city NYC to Maine.  It allows these kids the opportunity to get a little closer to nature and away from the fast paced city life.

What better way to enjoy the ocean!!  Staying the night in a real, functioning light house off, the coast of Maine, sounds so fascinating.  You even have the opportunity to be the Light House Keeper!  Dreams really do come true!  And you thought you've explored everything this fine state has to offer.

If you've  had enough of seeing April, the giraffe, populating your newsfeed on Facebook...then you're not alone.  I will admit, I sneaked a peek for the first three days.  But, now we're over a week of watching nothing.  I'm beginning to think this is just one big April Fool's joke.  (And now that I've written this, you watch...she'll finally pop.)

I'm so excited to be organizing the 2nd Annual Central Maine Conquer Chiari Walk Across America again this year.  I never were have imagine the first one would have gone as well as it did.  I was in shock the entire day!  We had over 130 people there representing 9 teams with 1 goal in mind...to Conquer Chiari!!

Maine's bobcat hunting season is ending for the year. The state allows a bobcat hunting season every winter. It began on Dec. 1 and ends on Tuesday, February 28th.

Milo, a cat from Rumford, Maine is having a rough winter.  It tough being teased...especially when the teaser is a squirrel.  Maybe they want to be friends.  Maybe Milo wants him for dinner.  Who knows.  Either way, the video is adorable.
