It was, just over, two years ago when Renee and I got our tattoos from InkSlingrz in Augusta.  Prior to that, we were both tattoo virgins.  Joe, the head artist and owner, calmed our fears and proceeded to leave a permanent impression on our skin.  Now, a couple years later...guess who's ready for more?

Parenting is the hardest thing to do.  Especially multiple kids.  If you're not questions your skills on a daily basis, then you are doing it wrong.  This week, I came across a situation with one of my kids that has left my heart broken and feeling absolutely terrible.  I want to revoke the punishment because I feel as though it was brutal.  Either way, the damage is done, literally and figurative

Almost 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with a disease that (at the time) I didn't realize would change my entire life.  Chiari Malformation is a debilitating condition that has no cure...only temporary solutions.  A year ago, I underwent 10 1/2 hours of surgery to help limit the symptoms I was having and today I celebrate.

I have seen some of the simplest recipes circulating around Facebook.  So easy, that I decided to make a couple for my family to eat during the Super Bowl game.  Both recipes were split 50/50 among my kids, so I was curious what McCoy's opinion would be...

I can honestly say that I have NEVER taken stuff from my coworkers at any of my places of employment.  I was taught by my parents a very simple rule.  DON'T TAKE WHAT ISN'T YOURS.  That's simple...right?  Or maybe I lived a sheltered life...and the act of keeping your paws off other peoples' belongings is harder than it really seems.

Hussey School is clearly working hard on instilling proper manners.  It's working!  My daughter, Chloe, was reciting the rules this morning...now I've heard her do this before...but always thought #5 was one that she added.  Maybe her teacher squeaked it in there.  But, #5 is, in fact, a real rule at Hussey School in Augusta and I love it!

What the what?  Teens exchanging 'promise rings'.  I've noticed a trend on Facebook over the weekend.  Quite a few teenagers exchanged promise rings with their gf/bf or gf/gf or bf/bf.  They are in high school...what could they possibly be 'promising' each other??  Do they even realize what they're 'promising'?  Are they truly ready for that kind of commitment?  Or are they only promising until th

Technology certainly has come a long way.  I discovered this Christmas morning with my kiddos.  2 new electronic toys found their way under our tree.  One is extremely cute...as the cool kids say 'it's totes adorbs'.  The other...is a traditional item from the 80's that has had a make-over and is by far the creepiest toy I've ever seen.

The Hatchimal is probably the most sought after toy this holiday season.  Similar to the Cabbage Patch Kid, Tickle Me Elmo & the Furby...parents are raiding store shelves searching for this must-have item so their kids have the best Christmas ever!  My daughter, Chloe, got one for her birthday and immediately we all had to see what the commotion was all about.

I thought it was funny when I was friend requested by a person named John David.  The name seemed familiar to me.  Dr. Phil routinely has stories about women being catfished on the internet.  Catfished is: Being deceived over facebook as the deceiver professed their romantic feelings to his/her victim, but isn't who they say they are.

On Friday, I traveled to New York with my daughter, Emma, who had a doctor's appointment.  We were fortunate to be able to fly round trip in one day.  It was a long day, and I suppose I look slightly flustered when this mishap took place.  (I had a headache and the last thing I wanted to listen to was a LOUD whistle, that definitely shouldn't have been there)

During Sarah's Daily Dyer-ry, yesterday, I wrapped up about the Chiari Walk I organized this past weekend.  Not everyone is aware of what chiari is, so I found this excellent video that pretty much sums up the anatomy of the brain.  I, honestly, couldn't have put it better myself.

I put this out there for a vote and got some great responses.  Some that I agree with.  Some that I don't agree with.  But that's the beauty...not everyone has to agree.  For example...Fish Tacos are 2 words that don't belong together.

Dierks Bentley recently released a song, featuring Elle King, called "It's Different For Girls".  I admit, I haven't fully listened to the song but every time I hear the lyrics "It's different for girls", immediately, 100 things come to MY mind as to why it's so different for girls.

Clearly I missed the memo stating 'No Bags unless they are clear' that was sent out about the Luke Bryan concert.  So, while we were waiting in line...with my big purse...I was in a panic trying to figure out how to carry all my stuff.  Where the heck can one get a 'clear bag'.  My incredibly crafty hubs came up with the perfect solution...
