Veteran news anchor and reporter Norm Karkos is no longer working at WMTW. Karkos spent 25 years of his career with Channel 8. Officials at WMTW have confirmed that Karkos is no longer working working at the station but they are not authorized to discuss the issue at this point.

Sarah and Andy talked with actor and singer Chris Carmack from the ABC television show 'Nashville'. The show is in ending it's four season run on May 25th, after being cancelled earlier this week. Chris' character on the show is Will Lexington. Will is an openly gay country singer and it has not been easy for him.

From billboards to oil refineries, ABC's "The Family" completely misses the mark here in Maine.

Michael Strahan announced on April 19 that he'll be leaving 'Live' with Kelly and Michael and be committing full time to 'Good Morning America'. Michael replaced the legendary Regis Philbin in 2012. And, the next day (April 20), Kelly Ripa did not show up for work, which some reports have said was an angry reaction for not being told of the news in advance of it being released to the media. Best episode of COPS that I have ever seen.  Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola, both New England Patriots receivers, perform a COPS parody.  That's right, this isn't real.  But who cares...it's Edelman and Amendola.  #Yummy

During the April 16 episode of 'Saturday Night Live,' the show aired a parody commercial for a fake product called "Heroin AM," which proclaimed to allow people to do heroin while continuing on with their day.

Joe Cupo has been a fixture in Maine television news since 1979. The weatherman has been giving Mainers the forecast for 37 years with the Portland television station WCSH Channel 6. Joe Cupo is leaving WCSH,  his last day will be April 22.

As a huge 'American Idol' fan is was kind of bittersweet to watch the final episode of the show. The finale this season had Trent Harmon versus La'Porsha Renae and frankly who won took a backseat to seeing how they would send off this iconic piece of American television.

Just two shows left of 'American Idol' and the top three become the final two with the winner crowned Thursday night. The show opens with one of those infamous American Idol group songs. Then Ryan Seacrest announces that the first round will feature the song that will be released to radio if they are the winner.

American Idol will be crowning it's 15th and final winner next Thursday and to get to that moment the final four contestants will be cut down to the final three. Who was sent home?

I'll get in the mood every once in a while to binge watch the Food Network and the show 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives' with Guy Fieri. As I watch, I think what an awesome job to have, travel across the country and eat awesome food! Did you know that five restaurants in Maine have been featured on 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives'? Maybe I'm not clear minded, after surgery and all.  But, I love the new Netflix series Fuller House.  I like it so much, I'm watching the series for the second time.  Again, meds could be to blame...or maybe someone will come to my defense and agree with me.

The end of 'American Idol' is just two weeks away and we say goodbye to one more of this season's finalists. The final four will sing two songs apiece and we also hear performances from past 'American Idol' winner David Cook, past finalist Katherine McPhee and pop start Sia.
