The Better Business Bureau is warning of a a scam geared toward cell phone users. it could mean unexpected charges on your monthly bill. According to WABI customers are getting calls from someone who hangs up after one ring. You could be billed $19.95 for an international call fee if you return that call.

The calls are coming from various area codes including the Dominican Republic (809), Jamaica (876), British Virgin Islands (284), Grenada (473), Antigua (268) and Dominica (767).

You are advised to all your phone company immediately if you think you've been scammed and make sure to check your cell phone bill. Also, make sure to report any problems to your credit card company.
