NE Patriots: U.S. District Judge Richard Berman has ruled in favor of NE Patriots QB Tom Brady and erased his four-game suspension for "Deflategate." THE NFL will appeal, but will not seek an emergency stay of Berman's decision. That leaves Brady free to start the season opener, Thursday night against Pittsburgh.

Tom Brady was not in uniform for the Pats' final preseason game, a 12-9 loss to the New York Giants.
