When was the last time you yelled at the TV? Easy now, we ALL do it. We get involved with the shows we're watching, and advise the characters to act out a certain way. Often when they don't, the inner rage button is pressed a little harder. Us, sitting on the coach know better than the writers, right? Netflix is going to change that.

80's and 90's kids likely remember the Choose Your Own Adventure Book series. Millennials, not so much. I've dropped a few CYOA references in conversation to blank stares. The premise is you would read a page, choose what the character should do, and skip to the corresponding page to continue. Well, Netflix is working on a few shows along the same idea. So far, the shows are for kids. Puss in Boots and Buddy Thunderstruck will both feature interactive episodes this year. However, if successful, Netflix says it could expand the interactive format to its more popular series—or create a series in which every episode is interactive. To start, these will also only be available on certain devices including game consoles, iOS devices, Roku devices, and some modern smart TVs.

Imagine if they expanded this for Red Red Sox games? John Farrell might be out of a job.
