Chris Young has a new furry friend in his life and life couldn't be any cuter.

Young got the best Christmas present ever when his sister, Dorothy, surprised him with a little German Shepherd puppy named Porter. She picked him up at Cedar Valley Canine just outside of Nashville, and the singer fell in love at first sight.

They locked eyes on Dec. 29, and Young can't stop sharing the adorable pup on Instagram. "Sleepy dog," the singer simply writes next to a photo of Porter slumbering in his arms.

The video he shared is absolutely precious, with the fluffy black and brown dog making the most adorable squeaking sound as he yawns at the camera. Go on, watch — it will put a smile on your face!

Young and his new puppy were clearly friends from the start, with the singer sharing a Twitter post on the day they met, showing little Porter peacefully sleeping as he affectionately pets his face with his finger. "Best Christmas present ever from my little sister... Meet Porter thank you Cedar Valley Canine!" the country star writes.

The "Sober Saturday Night" hitmaker is ready to take on the world with a new buddy at his side and his Losing Sleep World Tour in support of his album of the same name. The tour started in Indianapolis on Jan. 11 and continues through the spring before wrapping up May 19 in Tacoma, Wash. Kane BrownMorgan Evans and Dee Jay Silver also join him for the trek.

"Losing Sleep" scored Young another gold-certified hit, with the album debuting at the top of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and inside the Top 5 on the Billboard 200.

These Country Singers Sure Love Their Dogs!

Hold on Chris! We've Got One Last Question!
