The city of Chattanooga, Tennessee is hosting free workshop called ‘How to Poop in the Woods’. The workshop in organized by Outdoor Chattanooga because it doesn’t want the city to have negative impact on your sense of smell.

According to the official announcement, day hikers to professional athletes, a growing number of people head to the woods and find themselves asking the question ‘how do you poop in the woods’.

The course will teach:

‘Proper disposal for personal waste’

‘Proper disposal for pet waste and food scape’

‘When are catholes advisable?’

Terri Chapin is a ‘Leave No Trace Master Educator’ and will teach the class. She has led hundreds of trips into the front and backcountry environments and knows her stuff.
