Cold Night at Cumberland Farms in Augusta
With temperatures overnight in the single numbers, it was a cold night for Kyle Boucher at Cumberland Farms in Augusta. Kyle is the overnight worker at the store. I was pulling into the parking to get my morning iced coffee and that’s when I saw the front door unhinged.
My first thought was the store had been robbed, but that was not the case. I asked Kyle what had happened and he told me that yesterday evening a customer had opened the door and the wind caught it and the end result is what you see in the pictures.
Kyle’s cash register is just a few feet from the front door, so it was a cold night for Kyle. He mentioned
that the manager will be at the store by 6 and the door should be fixed shortly after that.
