There's a song on Cole Swindell's new Down Home Sessions III EP in which the singer does his best to avoid saying something stupid in an attempt to woo a girl. During this video exclusive to Taste of Country, the Georgia native embraces the bad pickup lines.

"Does It Hurt?" is the song that inspired this video, as in "Does it hurt / Looking that good?" The breezy, three-minute-long country song is a perfect fit for Swindell, a guy who admits he's far from smooth. He says he wrote it with Tom Douglas and Jaren Johnston by throwing out bad pickup line after bad pickup line.

In this video, the 33-year-old tries out a few they missed. We found them on the internet, so they had to have worked for someone at some point, right?

Down Home Sessions III drops on Oct. 28, and promises to be the soundtrack for Swindell's Down Home Tour. The fall run of dates begins on Wednesday (Oct. 26) and wraps in mid-December. It's unlikely fans will hear a radio single from the EP. Swindell says it was mostly meant to be a gift for fans and a way to give life to a few of the hundreds of great songs that never get a chance in Nashville.

Next winter, look for Swindell on Dierks Bentley's What the Hell Tour. The "Middle of a Memory" singer admits Bentley is someone he wanted to be like growing up, and since they met he's been nothing short of overwhelmed by the more established star's generosity.
