Cony High School QB Ben Lucas Signs Letter of Intent With University Of Maine

Cony High football standout and Fitzpatrick Trophy winner Ben Lucas was one of 16 football players to sign a letter of intent to play football at the University of Maine.Lucas had a record-breaking season with Cony High School in Augusta. He completed 225 of 373 pass attempts for 3,357 yards, with 41 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. Cony also won the state title came with a win over Kennebunk.

The 6’4, 230-pound Lucas has a high school career of 7,575 passing yards with 89 touchdown passes.

Another native Mainer, Dexter Turner of South Paris, a defensive tackle, signed a letter of intent with UMaine.
