Country-rock musician Leon Russell has died. He was 74. According to a post on Russell’s official Facebook page, Russell died in his sleep sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning in Nashville. Russell was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011; he was also inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame that same year. Funeral arrangements for Russell have yet to be announced.

Dierks Bentley will kick off the new year with his What the Hell World Tour, crossing the country with opening acts Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi. According to Bentley, having the two men join him on the road might make the upcoming trek his best tour yet. Bentley and company will begin the What the Hell World Tour on Jan. 17, at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

Tim McGraw stepped up to take care of Faith Hill after she recently underwent surgery. She recently had surgery on her foot. According to Hill, the surgery is simply some work on a past injury to get her ready for touring next year. The couple is gearing up to go on tour together in 2017 for their Soul2Soul World Tour, an extensive run kicking off in April.
