The Academy of Country Music has shared its plans for the 2017 Party for a Cause. From March 30 through April 2, Las Vegas is going country. The 2017 Party for a Cause will be made up of both industry and fan events taking place throughout Sin City. Each event will feature a performance from some of the artists already set to play at various events include Kelsea Ballerini, Billy Currington, Lady Antebellum, LoCash, Kip Moore, Jake Owen, Chris Stapleton, Michael Tyler, Clay Walker and Brett Young.

Keith Urban and Little Big Town will help honor the Bee Gees at a special Grammys event on February 14. The country artists are part of an all-star lineup of performers who will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the legendary Saturday Night Fever soundtrack during Stayin’ Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Music of the Bee Gees, which will take place two days after the 2017 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

Alan Jackson is asking for prayers for the family of a very special young fan who passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. Jackson met JoshuaJohn ‘JDub’ Waldrop in 2015. The boy, who was 4 years old at the time, had been diagnosed with Stage IV cancer. JDub’s lifelong wish was to meet Jackson, who was his favorite country singer. So, Jackson sent a limo to pick up JDub and his family and brought them to Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, where he performed and gave him an autographed guitar. On January 24, 2017, Waldrop passed away after a two-year battle with cancer. He was 7 years old.
