Country News: Billy Gilman #2 on the Voice
Billy Gilman is The Voice‘s Season 11 runner-up. The former country singer-turned-pop artist placed second to Sundance Head during Tuesday night’s (Dec. 13) finale.
Iconic country group Shenandoah have announced a 2017 tour to celebrate their third decade in the music industry. The band will hit the road on their Shenandoah 30th Anniversary Tour in January, bringing their classic country sound to fans all over the country … and Switzerland, too! No tour date in Maine.
Kane Brown has accomplished a feat not reached since Sam Hunt did it two years ago. Brown’s self-titled debut album which came out on December 2 and hit No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart and Top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart with 45,000 in album sales. As a result, he earned the best-selling debut country album of the past two years and the largest country debut for a new artist since Hunt’s Montevallo in 2014.
