Country News: Blake Shelton’s Home Hit by a Truck

On the same day Blake Shelton released his latest album, Texoma Shore, someone drove a truck into his house in Oklahoma. The album was done at the studio at his lake house where someone drove their truck through the front of the home. According to tasteofcountry.com the attack wasn’t aimed at Shelton, he wasn't at the residence at the time, but the truck was sticking out of the front of his house. Shelton didn’t seem to concerned saying that’s what you have insurance for.

Jake Owen is joining Big Loud Records which reunites him with producer Joey Moi who produced Owen’s breakthrough album ‘Barefoot Blue Jean Night.’  Other Owen’s news, according to tasteofcountry.com he has joined his home state of Florida in relief efforts for Hurricane Irma victims and will perform at a Hurricane Benefit Concert on November 19.

The American Idol reboot with judge Luke Bryan will premiere on Sunday night, March 11, 2018, at 8 p.m. on ABC. Long time host Ryan Seacrest will be back as host. On tasteofcountry.com the other judge’s joining Bryan are Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Auditions for the show began in August, hitting 23 cities.
