Country News: Carrie Underwood Headed to the Oklahoma Hall of Fame

In the aftermath of the bombing at a concert in England, country duo Love and Theft said they will donate the proceeds from sales of their single ‘Love Wins’ to the victims and their families. On theboot.com, the bombing occurred minutes after the concert was over killing 22 people and injuring 59.

Class of 2017 for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame has been announced and Carrie Underwood is a soon-to-be-inductee. The seven time Grammy Awards winner will be honored during an event in November this year. According to theboot.com, Underwood will join Toby Keith, Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton and Vince Gill and others in the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.

Miranda Lambert, a huge fan of animals will host a special event for the MuttNation Foundation during the 2017 CMA Music Festival. The foundation she founded helps support recue animals, animal shelters and pet adoption. Theboot.com says the CMA Music Festival starts June 8 and Lambert will kick off the festival with the first ever MuttNation march.
