Country News: Chesney Adds a Second Show

Dolly Parton‘s signature theme park and the surrounding areas have been evacuated due to the wildfires that are currently raging in rural Tennessee. Dollywood, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in Tennessee are under an evacuation notice. Authorities issued a mandatory evacuation for Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge on Monday night November 28, due to the wildfires sweeping the area in and around Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Dolly Parton has issued a statement about the wildfires that are raging in her home state of Tennessee, offering her prayers to all those affected by the devastation.

Kenny Chesney announced what he thought would be his only stadium show of 2017 a few weeks ago, but the superstar has changed his mind due to overwhelming demand. He has added a second show at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts in August. The first show, already announce is Friday, August 25. The second show is scheduled for Saturday, August 26. Tickets for both show go on sale this Friday, December 2.

Carrie Underwood performed the final date of her Storyteller Tour on Monday night and the singer shared her appreciation for her fans and openers the Swon Brothers and Easton Corbin. Corbin gifted her with a beautiful portrait of Dolly Parton.
