Country News: Chris Stapleton Coming to SNL

Later this month Chris Stapleton will be back on Saturday Night Live. The day before the Grammy Awards (Jan 28) Stapleton will be the musical guest on the show. On tasteofcountry.com the last time Stapleton was on SNL was in Jan. 2016. The show is on Jan. 27 with Will Ferrell as host.

Vince Gill’s daughter, Jenny, is the mother of a new baby girl named Everly June who joins her 3 year old brother Wyatt. Tasteofcountry.com tells us that Jenny is the daughter of Vince Gill and Janis Oliver and married childhood friend Josh Van Valkenburg in a ceremony at her father and stepmom Amy Grant's home in 2010.

According to tasteofcountry.com Brad Paisley has received the 2018 Randy Owen Angels Among Us award by St. Jude Children’s hospital. The honor recognizes individuals who have made exceptional and lasting contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Paisley has been a dedicated supporter of St. Jude throughout his career, including headlining a celebration of the 25th anniversary of Country Cares at the Grand Ole Opry in September 2014, several celebrity fishing tournaments, countless hospital visits and designing a room at the Target House for patients.
