Country News: Dierks Bentley Visits Vegas

Dierks Bentley was in Las Vegas on Monday visiting with first responders who were at the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting. According to theboot.com Bentley also performed for and met with hospital staff that assisted when victims arrived at nearby hospitals.  There are many, including Bentley, trying to make a difference in the wake of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting.

Loretta Lynn returned to the stage on October 1 after suffering a stroke in May. The 85 year-old singer performed at the Tennessee Motorcycle and Music Revival. The event takes place at Lynn’s 400-acre ranch in Hurricane Hills, Tennessee, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the state. Theboot.com tells us Lynn sat on stage with her twins and granddaughter performing some her biggest hits.

Reba McEntire is hosting this year’s CMA Country Christmas television special. Now in its 8^th year but the first time Reba has hosted. According to theboot.com the special will air on November 27 on ABC at 8 and taped at the Grand Ole Opry House. Reba is taking over for Jennifer Nettles who has hosted for the past 7 years.
