Country News: Frey’s Mansion For Sale and Johnny Cash on Vinyl
The late Glenn Frey’s Los Angeles mansion is for sale. Frey, a member of the Eagles, and his wife bought the six-bedroom, nine-bath home in 2002 and according to theboot.com can be yours for $15 million. It’s a 9,000 square feet Spanish style villa on three-quarters of an acre. Frey died in January of 2016, due to complications from ongoing intestinal issues.
For the first time ever Johnny Cash’s, ‘Unearthed’ collection will be released as a vinyl box set. It’s set for release on November 3rd with guests June Carter Cash, Tom Petty and more. On theboot.com they tell us it’s a 9 record collection with 79 songs broken into five distinct themed sections. Along with the box set you’ll get a 60-page coffee table book giving more insight into the collection.
