Country News: Georgia on My Mind Benefit Features Home State Talent

Kip Moore, Lauren Alaina, Rhett Akins and more country stars are set for the Georgia on My Mind benefit concert. The concert will benefit the Georgia Music Foundation and features mostly Georgia natives raising fund for music education programs. The Boot says the concert is set for May 16.

Aaron Watson, who had his guitar stolen earlier this month, has recovered the missing instrument. According to The Boot, a Good Samaritan came across the guitar and returned it. Watson was happy to have the custom made guitar returned and thanked fans for their help. It doesn’t say where the guitar was found.

Shania Twain says she will perform new music at this year’s Stagecoach County Music Festival on April 29. The new single from the album will be released in June but will debut this Saturday night during her performance. According to The Boot, she’s kicking off the summer with a new song and then finishing the summer with the release of the album.
