The 60th annual Grammy Awards are set for January 28 at Madison Square Garden in New York. It’s the first time in 15 years the event will take place at Madison Square Garden. The first round of performers has been announced and Little Big Town is among artists to take the stage. According to tasteofcountry.com country artists up Grammy’s this year are Kenny Chesney, Midland, Chris Stapleton, Thomas Rhett, Sam Hunt and More.

 

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo gets underway February 27 with Garth Brooks kicking off the event. On tasteofcountry.com other acts to perform will be Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Kelsea Ballerini, Chris Young and more.  The show has been going on since 1932.

 

A fiddle owned by late country giant Roy Acuff is going to auction. The fiddle was donated anonymously to Goodwill of Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas. According to kansascity.com each of Acuff’s fiddles was number and this is #19 which was handmade in 1945.
