Country News: Kenny Chesney Adds a Couple More Concerts

Kenny Chesney will do a couple of more concerts this year other than the two at Gillette Stadium. He has announced four more shows in 2017. Chesney has added concerts at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Aug. 4; Orange Beach, Alabama’s Wharf Amphitheatre on Aug. 5; and at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, on Aug. 10 and 11. His two shows at Gillette will be August 25 and 26. According to The Boot, Chesney decided to scale down this year but couldn’t no play a little bit.

William Michael Morgan, singer of I Met A Girl, is single again. He and finance Jennifer Wayne have called off their engagement. The couple, in a statement on The Boot said they came to a mutual agreement that it was the best thing for both of them right now.

Nominations for the 2017 Billboard Music Awards have been announced for the May awards show. Luke Bryan is up for the all-genre Billboard Achievement Award and in the Top Country Tour category. Joining Byran in that category is Kenny Chesney and the Dixie Chick. According to The Boot, Hillary Scott from Lady Antebellum and Joey + Rory is up for Top Christian Album.
