Country News: Loretta Lynn Health Update

There’s an update on the health of Loretta Lynn by her brother Herman Webb. He said his sister had a stroke in early May and was ‘kinda’ paralyzed on one side but she is doing well. On theboot.com Webb said she can talk and Loretta told him that she thought she was going to be okay.

Rory Feek will perform two solo concerts in early September to support the Music Health Alliance. Prior to his wife Joey Feek’s death Rory said he won’t perform without her. According to theboot.com Rory said he felt the need and responsibility to do the shows because the Music Health Alliance helped him tremendously when his wife was battling cancer for the second time.

Theboot.com reports Joe Nichols will have a new album coming in July. The album, Never Gets Old, will be released on July 28 and will have a traditional, timeless country sound to it. Nichols has included his country-shuffle take on Sir Mix-a-Lots ‘Baby Got Back.’
