Country News: Sam Hunt Announces His First Music Festival

Sam Hunt announced his first ever music festival. He is putting together the show and performing. It will take place in Nashville on April 20-21 at the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in Nashville. The festival will be called ‘The Nashional’ and will feature performers from different genres of music. Hunt will also be on the road this year including the Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter Mountain New York, June 8-10.

Willie Nelson along with classic rocker Neil Young will be in a new western movie directed by Young’s girlfriend Daryl Hannah. It’s titled Paradox and will premiere in March. Willie’s two youngest sons, Lukas and Micah, will appear in the movie too.

The ongoing investigation into the shooting that took place in Las Vegas in October has revealed an additional person of interest. A judge unsealed search warrant records and the name Douglas Haig is named in one of the documents. Haig said he had sold Paddock (the shooter) some ammunition and confirmed that he has been contacted by investigators. He declined to elaborate, and called the police to request that reporters leave his property. He is expected to hold a press conference today.
