Country News: Tim & Faith Sign With Sony Music
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have both signed individual deals with Sony Music Entertainment. The deals involve ‘multiple solo albums from both artists. A representative for Hill confirmed the news. More details will be made available this spring, and that there is no official word at this time on if McGraw and Hill will record an album together as well.
Carrie Underwood had another busy and very successful year in 2016, but the country singer looks to be dialing back in 2017. It seems after completing her massive Storyteller Tour, followed by her December tour dates in Australia and New Zealand with Keith Urban, Underwood is ready for some time off. She said wants to dedicate more time to her family in 2017, starting right after the Grammys.
A 14-year-old from Ohio saw her dream of attending the Grammy Awards come true on Sunday night and she even got to meet with country stars including Kelsea Ballerini. The teen has been battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma and had been undergoing treatment when she learned about her trip to the awards show through Make-A-Wish Foundation. Jane attended the 59th Annual Grammy Awards where she met several country artists including Ballerini, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
