Country News: Trace Adkins Joins Team Blake

Trace Adkins will join team Blake on The Voice according to theboot.com. Season 14 will get underway February 26 on NBC. Adkins and Shelton have become good friends since collaborating on the 2009 song Hillbilly Bone.

Lynyrd Skynyd have announced a farewell tour called Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour. According theboot.com the tour will run May 4 through Sept. 1 and will feature special guests Kid Rock, Charlie Daniels Band, Marshall Tucker Band, Bad Company and more.

The latest celebrity to play KFC's manly Col. Sanders is a woman — and a famous one at that. Reba McEntire is the 11th person to play the chain's famous founder, Col. Harlan Sanders. Previous portrayers include actors Ray Liotta, Rob Lowe, George Hamilton and Darrell Hammond. The ad campaign launches Sunday. She is the first woman to portray the colonel.
