Country News: Willie Nelson Cancels Some Shows

Willie Nelson was playing a concert in San Diego on Saturday and barely got started with his opening song and abruptly ended his performance. According to sandiegouniontribune.com Nelson was coughing and had a hard time breathing. Nelson left the stage and cancelled three other shows this week. In an email his reps said the performance was concluded early because of an illness.

According to tasteofcountry.com talk show host Wendy Williams says Carrie Underwood is using the excuse of falling down the stairs in her home to cover up the fact that she got a facelift. There's been no official response from Underwood, who revealed during a year-end letter to fans in her fan club that she needed dozens of stitches during surgery performed the night of the incident. Underwood has been overall quiet regarding her accident and subsequent injuries, only releasing the bare minimum of information.
