Country News: Zac Brown Band to Play First Twitter Concert

Twitter is getting into the concert business and their first live-streaming concert will be with the Zac Brown Band. On May 13 their welcome Home Tour from Alpharetta, Georgia will be streamed live on Twitter. Other artists slated for Twitter-streamed concerts include Portugal the Man, Train, August Alsina and Marian Hill. According to theboot.com the company also found great success by live-streaming Billboard’s Grammy Awards pre-show; that event was the most viewed entertainment live stream on Twitter to date.

Look for Florida Georgia Line to perform during this year Billboard Music Awards. They are the only country act scheduled to perform during the show. Along with performing, Florida Georgia Line is up for five awards, Top Duo/Group, Top Country Artist, Top Country Album, Top Country song and Top Country Collaboration. According to theboot.com the Billboard Music Awards will take place on May 21^st on ABC.

Eric Church will wrap up his ‘Holdin’ My Own Tour’ on May 27^th in Nashville. He will have 10 more concert dates after the tour and all but two will be in September. According to theboot.com here are Eric’s final 2017 tour dates:

Oct. 29 — Las Vegas, Nev. @ Route 91 Festival
