The Titanic sunk in 1912 when it collided with an iceberg killing 1,500 people. One thing that survived after all these years was a ‘cracker’. That ‘cracker’ just sold at auction for $23,000 making it the world's most expensive 'cracker'.

Stamped on the ‘cracker’ is Spillers & Bakers ‘Pilot’ which was a ‘cracker’ from a survival kit from a Titanic lifeboat. James Fenwick who was a passenger aboard one of the boat that came to the Titanic’s recue, kept the ‘cracker’ as a souvenir. He put the ‘cracker’ in an envelope with a note that read, ‘Pilot biscuit from Titanic lifeboat April 1912.

A collector from Greece bought the ‘cracker’ for $23,000 at auction.
