Craig Strickland's wife, Helen, has shared a snippet of a video he made for her prior to their 2014 wedding. The singer's widow once again expressed her love and gratitude for their one year together, adding that she will "forever cherish our year of marriage."

In an Instagram post on Monday night, the former Miss Arkansas USA explained that her husband asked her to watch this video, which she did just before walking down the aisle.

"I am so thankful for technology in this moment because I will always have this," Helen explains. "Thank you @stylistmeganfarmer for helping him make this. I will cherish it for ever."

"'Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Psalms 116:15' Thank you Lord for sharing #craigstrickland with me. You allowed me to borrow him on this earth, but he was always Yours. I will forever cherish our year of marriage. This was truly the type of man you were and will always be remembered as. I love you Craig Michael."

The two married in late November 2014. Craig went missing on Dec. 27, 2015 during a duck hunting trip with his friend, Chase Morland. Morland's body was found on Kaw Lake in Oklahoma the next day, and one week later, on Jan. 4, Oklahoma Highway Patrol recovered Strickland's body just north of where they found their capsized boat.

Craig Strickland was the lead singer of an emerging country band called Backroad Anthem. The six-piece country rock group had opened for several major headliners and seemed to be expanding their fan base outside of Fayetteville, Ark. and the southeast. On Monday, the band posted their statement on Instagram, asking for prayers for the family.
