Dad Posts Viral Photo Of Local Boy To Help Heal His Scars

Carter Gentle, a 7-year-old boy from Farmington, has a Congenital Heart Defect.  As a result, he has undergone 5 surgeries in his short little life.  Most recently, he had to have emergency surgery to repair his pacemaker he's had since he was a newborn.  When it was time to remove the bandages, Carter cried at his reflection in the mirror. 

His little torso is covered with scars and Carter sobbed saying "People are going to think I'm ugly.  My scars are horrible."  His father, country singer, Mark Gentle tried to change his son's thinking and told him people would see him as a "Superhero".  Which I agree.  Let's support this local boy!  Share his story.  Like his picture on Facebook.  Just click here to LIKE his picture and to send him words of encouragement.
