Dear Maine Ice Cream Shoppes….Sarah Requests You Add The Dole Whip!

Today on the Morning Buzz, our Brain Buster was about ice cream.  For me, ice cream is crack.  I'm hooked and addicted.  I love going to the locally owned ice cream shoppes and getting homemade ice cream.  They are so much better than franchise ice cream.  But here's one thing I've always wondered...and if you are an owner of a local ice cream shoppe, would you please consider adding this item to your menu.

I almost lost it when I went to the Ice Cream Shoppe in Randolph because on their menu it stated 'Dole Whip'.  But when I asked them what it was, it wasn't even close to the dole whip that I know and am familiar with.  Don't know what a dole whip is?  First, I'm so sorry.  Well, it's only the greatest, most fabulous ice cream treat...available at the Magic Kingdom & Disneyland.  But so super easy to make...if you own an ice cream shoppe.

Please let me know if and when someone somewhere decides to add this to their menu.  If you already have it on your menu, WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU??  Dole Whip might be a 'registered trade mark name' so you could always call it the 'Pineapple Hula'.
