Destination Maine: Viles Arboretum In Augusta [UPDATE DOG SLEDDING CANCELLED]

Update! Due to the lack of snow the dog sledding event is cancelled for tomorrow.

Saturday, January 24th enjoy winter in Maine with some dog sledding with Heywood Kennels. The kids will love meeting some of the great pups and the family can try something different with some dog sledding.

The dog sledding event will take place at Viles Arboretum in Augusta this Saturday from 10 until 2.

Viles Arboretum was established in 1981 by the Maine Forest Service. They planted 120 trees and constructed fences, bridges, trails and a boardwalk and sits on 224 acres.
