We are turning the calender to August! Where is summer going? The beginning of August means blueberry season in Maine and one the state's biggest blueberry festival is this Friday and Saturday.

It's the 32nd annual Wilton Blueberry Festival this Friday and Saturday.

This year's festival will feature the 5k and 10 k road races, live music, the big parade downtown on Saturday, plenty of great food, fireworks and new this year will be the MEGA Body Inflatables from Houston, Texas.

Around 5,000 people are predicted to visit Wilton this weekend.

A reminder that on Saturday there will be no parking on Maine Street or at the Wilson Lake swimming area from noon until after the fireworks. The public boat ramp will close at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Parking locations with a free shuttle service to downtown will run from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. during Saturday.
