Direct TV Starting the First Channel Strickly for Dogs
The days of your dog sitting at home with nothing to do while waiting for you to come home are over. Direct T.V., will soon start showing DogTV, a channel completely dedicated to dogs. It will be on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will have programs that are sensitive to a dog’s vision and hearing.
They say the channel will support dog’s natural behavior patterns and help prevent boredom, depression and fatigue. The idea is to keep your dog from getting restless while you’re away because the programming is meant to relax your dog by showing peaceful programs. As for the sounds the dog will hear, experts say they are using the approach of veterinary science. How much will DogTV cost? $6 a month.
