My guilty pleasure is watching Dr. Phil.  Good thing, too, because I learned this week about a new phone scam going around the country!  A scam that ANYONE can easily fall victim to.  When you answer your phone, do NOT say 'Yes' to this...

According to the story on Dr. Phil, and you can watch it below...scammers are calling people in every state.  When you answer your phone the conversation goes something like this...

CALLER: Hi, this is (so and so) from (insert company name here), can you hear me?
YOU: Yes.
CALLER: (hangs up)

The scammer now has YOUR voice recorded saying 'Yes'.  This allows them to use your voice to approve things as you.
