Perhaps I'm the odd duck in this scenario.  Recently, I was asked to make a deposit using a check only.  No cash.  No credit/debit.  It had to be a personal check.  Whaaaa?  Really?  People still have those?  I have not used a check from my personal checking account...gosh...wow...I don't even remember when the last time I signed a check.

I do pay my bills electronically either directly through my checking account, using the banks routing number, or with my debit card.  I don't go shopping and write a check.  So here I am.  I NEEEEEEED to make this deposit.  No checkbook.  I seriously can't be the only person, in this day in age, without a checkbook.

Do you still use a checkbook?  If so, WHY??  Give us your answer on Facebook
