Working at a radio station is always interesting. You never know just what is going to happen. Case in point, today (Sept. 8) we had a couple of dogs show up at the studio.

The circumstances in which these chihuahuas were left in our temporary care are not important, but there was no one here at the station who could care for them, so we took them to the Kennebec Valley Humane Society, where they will be placed up for adoption.

The dogs are now safely in the care of the KVHS, and we're told they will be available for adoption in about a week, as they have to be neutered (all animals adopted from the KVHS are spayed or neutered).

Besides these two chihuahuas, the Kennebec Valley Humane Society has plenty of great animals up for adoption. Check out their website for details on how to adopt a pet from the KVHS.

And finally, we here at the station appreciate that people trust us with their furry friends, but a radio station is no place to drop off an animal, please take them to a place like the Kennebec Valley Humane Society, where they can be properly cared for and placed into a loving home!
