Downeast Salmon Federation Smelt Fry This Friday In Columbia Falls
It's 'fry'day this Friday! The Downeast Salmon Federation's Annual Smelt Fry is set for this Friday with events starting at 4 p.m. at the Columbia Falls Fire Department. Here's what's going on!Tours of the Pleasant River Hatchery will take place from 4 to 5 p.m.
From 5 to 7 p.m., it's the community dinner smelt fry!
The dinner features Pleasant River Smelts, Moose and Venison Stew, Maine Potato Salad, Alewife Bloater Dip and locally grown Blueberry Cobbler.
The event also features educational displays, music activities and the passing of the paddle.
