Dumbo to be Made Into Live-Action Film
Disney is working on turning the 1941 animated classic, Dumbo, into a live action movie. Transformer writer Ehren Kruger is working on the script and will help produce the film.
The live action will be adapted from the original but will vary somewhat. Dumbo, whose name is Jimbo Jr, has very large ears and is teased and gets the nickname Dumbo. But he learns to use his unusually large ears to fly.
Disney is hoping for the success of their most recent animation to live action film, Maleficent, which has made $630 million dollars worldwide so far.
