Eight New Dollar Stores Coming To The Lewiston-Auburn Area

Look for eight new dollar stores coming to the Lewiston-Auburn area. Four Family Dollar and four Dollar General stores are being planned with locations in Lewiston, Auburn, Turner, Sabattus and Greene.

On Sabattus Street in Lewiston, construction on a new Family Dollar and a new Dollar General store are under way.

A Family Dollar and Dollar General are also coming to the town of Sabattus.

The two chain stores are also adding a store each in Auburn, near the corner of Minot Avenue and Hotel Road.

In Greene, Family Dollar will be building a store on Route 202 near the IGA.

In Turner, Dollar General plans on building a store on Route 117 near the post office.

Family Dollar has more than 7,900 locations across the country and Dollar General, which currently has no stores in Maine, has around 11,000 locations nationwide.
