It's a major week for the road construction project around Interstate 95's exit 113. The project began this spring and has created two new roundabouts, widening and regrading roads, and changes in the intersection configuration.The $11.5 million project is scheduled to be completed by November 8th. The road work is all in conjunction with the new 192-bed Maine General Medical Center that will be opening on November 6th.

Here's a list of roads affected by paving this week:

  • Exit 113 northbound off-ramp closed 9 p.m. Sunday - 5 a.m. Monday.
  • Exit 113 southbound on-ramp Monday 9 p.m. - Tuesday 5 a.m.
  • Exit 113 southbound off-ramp Tuesday 7 p.m. - Wednesday 5 a.m.
  • Route 27 single lane of alternating traffic 6:30 p.m. Wednesday thru Friday - 5:30 a.m. Thursday thru Saturday.
