Favorite Car I Ever Owned

I was looking through some old pictures the other day and I found one of the 1989 Pontiac Firebird that I had owned from 1994 until 2005. It got me thinking of all of the cars that I have owned.  My first car that I bought, with my own money, was a 1988 Mercury Tracer. The first car my parents bought me was a 1976 Chevy Malibu.  I am sure I don't remember all of the cars I have owned over the past 25 plus years that I've been driving, but I sure do remember that Firebird.

It was so unlike me to be so impractical, but when I saw that shiny red Firebird for sale I knew I had to have it. I test drove it and bought it the next day. It was a gas guzzling 8 cylinder car with t-tops and a booming stereo system, again not practical, but so darn fun!

I bought it the summer of 1994 and sold it in the summer of 2005 when I moved to Augusta. I stored the car every winter and always had a second car to drive during the snowy weather, again not practical. I admit I was a little teary eyed when I sold it.
