The February school vacation week is here! If you are looking for something different to do with the whole family this week, here's something you might want to look into. It's a February Break Camp at Wolfe's Neck Farm in Freeport this Monday and Tuesday. It's an opportunity for campers to explore and experience the farm in the winter. Some of the activities planned include tracking animals in the snow to learn about their winter diets and how they survive a Maine winter.

Learn from farmers about the special care that barn animals need to stay healthy in the winter months.

Other activities include winter wilderness survival and building mini-greenhouses.

The camp will use a propane heated Haze Hut as a warm base for the camp day and hot chocolate and tomato soup will be served! Campers should be prepared with many layers of winter clothing, good winter boots, gloves or mittens and a warm winter hat. Also pack a hearty lunch and snacks.
