Find Out Why Sarah Colored Her Hair PURPLE #CHIARIWARRIOR

Yup, I colored my hair...PURPLE!  No regrets.  It's a statement for sure.  But it's just hair...right?  The color purple has a whole new meaning to me.  So, before I take on a surgery that will change my life, I wanted to face it head on and do something daring. To show it that I am in control of my destiny and I am not afraid...OK, maybe I'm afraid a little.

On February 15th, I will fly to NYC.  On the 17th, I will have a posterior fossa decompression (PFD) & craniocervical fussion (CCF).  What, you ask.  Essentially, I'm losing my mind and getting my head screwed on straight.  Really.  That's the truth.  My last day on the Morning Buzz will be February 12th.  I will return in May.  But, it will be a long year of recovery.  Returning to work will be my light at the end of the tunnel.

I wasn't the only one who colored my hair purple.  My daughter, Emma-Leigh, and sister-in-law, Justine did it with me.  However, because I'm blonde...my shows up A LOT more!!
