The Swedish furniture store Ikea opened their first sore in 1943 in southern Sweden and they have decided to turn that store into an Ikea museum. The town of Almhult saw the opening of the first store and just last year they moved into a new location.

The Ikea museum will display products they have sold over the past 70 years. Ikea says there has been a lot of interest in their history especially from the Dutch, Germans and Danes. The company hopes to attract 200,000 visitors a year and is expected to open in 2015.
