#FirstDayofFall – 10 Reasons I’m Not Excited For Fall

When I was a child, Autumn was one of my favorite seasons.  Why?  Well, there was Halloween and Thanksgiving and of course, Christmas was right around the corner.  As an adult, however, the novelty of Fall has disappeared a bit.  Today is the #FirstDayofFall and well, my glass is half empty as I think about all the hassles that come with it.  

In no particular order...they all rate the same in my book...let's get started:

10. Christmas is 93 days away. #bahumbug

9. BILLS!  Oil.  Wood.  Electric.  #keepmewarm

8. Turn the clocks back!  Oh, the lovely Daylight Savings Time.  #fallback

6. Winter is up next

5. Pumpkin coffee.  Pumpkin muffins.  Pumpkin bread.  Pumpkin pie.  Pumpkin candles.  Pumpkin cookies.  Pumpkin deodorant.  Pumpkin tacos.  Pumpkin EVERYTHING.

4. Where's my chapstick?  Lips are chapped from October to June.

3.  Christmas is 93 days away. (Oh...yea....I went there, again)

2. Back to school crud!  Kids are back in school, let the 'sneezing, coughing, sore throat, puking, what's that weird rash, great  you got lice' season begin!
