There is a prize for everything, even for putting the ‘least amount of effort as possible’ into art work. It’s called the ‘Turnip Prize”

At a pub in England, somewhere in Widmore, Somerset, 69 entrees are whittled down to just six rubbish artworks. Entrants are warned if they put too much effort and thought into their creation they will be disqualified.

A man from Bristol, known as Mr. Bonsky won this years ‘Turnip Award’ with his creation of ‘Dismal And’. His creation featured a plank of wood with a sad face in an ampersand and the words 'dismal and'.

Other finalists this year included a bread roll in a pile of hay, slab of slate and a computer mouse with an electrical warning sticker on it.

The winner was awarded a trophy consisting of a turnip nailed to a plank of wood.
