FRIENDS TV Show Aired For The First Time 21 Years Ago [VIDEO]

Twenty one years!  I can hardly believe that it has been that long since 6 friends first made their appearance in our living rooms.  Through the years, FRIENDS has continued to be my favorite sitcom of all time.  Guilty...I watch it every morning on Netflix while getting ready for work.

From joke telling Chandler & Phoebe singing 'Smelly Cat', to Joey's bad acting career as Dr. Drake Ramoray & Monica's severe OCD, to the up and down relationship of Rachel & Ross (who, by the way, were 'on a break')...there surely was something everyone could relate to.

• Kathy Griffin auditioned as Phoebe
• Courtney Cox is 3 years older than David Schwimmer, even though Monica is 3  years younger than Ross
• Each of the 6 main characters have lived in both Joey's and Monica's apartments over the years
• It was originally supposed to be Monica & Joey as the endgame love interests, instead of Ross & Rachel
• The show went through a name change, originally named: Six of One
